REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY - Rangoli Cinema

This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains the terms and conditions governing cancellation requests, refund eligibility, and related procedures for all subscriptions and services offered on Rangoli Cinema (“Platform”).

By subscribing to or using any paid service on Rangoli Cinema, you agree to the terms stated herein. Please read this Policy carefully before making any purchase.


1. GENERAL TERMS

1.1 Rangoli Cinema provides access to digital entertainment content, including films, web series, and documentaries, on a subscription basis.
1.2 All subscriptions and payments made on the Platform are processed digitally. Since the Content is instantly accessible upon payment, refunds are generally not applicable except as stated below.
1.3 This Policy forms part of and is to be read in conjunction with our Subscriber Agreement and Privacy Policy.


2. CANCELLATION BY THE SUBSCRIBER

2.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time before the renewal date by visiting My Account → My Subscription → Manage Subscription → Cancel.

2.2 Once cancelled, you will continue to have access to the service until the end of your current billing cycle.
2.3 No refund shall be made for partial months, unused periods, or unviewed content.
2.4 Cancellation of auto-renewal must be done at least 48 hours before the next billing cycle to avoid automatic renewal charges.
2.5 If you subscribed through a third-party payment service (e.g., Google Play, App Store, or payment wallet), you must manage cancellation directly through that platform as per their respective terms.


3. REFUND ELIGIBILITY

3.1 Refunds will only be issued in the following limited cases:

  • If you were charged twice for the same subscription due to a technical or payment gateway error.
  • If you were unable to access the paid content or service due to a verified fault or outage directly caused by Rangoli Cinema for more than 72 consecutive hours.
  • If your payment was deducted but the subscription was not activated, despite successful transaction confirmation.

3.2 Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Change of mind or accidental purchase.
  • Issues related to device compatibility or internet speed.
  • Temporary service interruptions or content removal due to licensing restrictions.
  • Any claim made after 7 days of the transaction date.

4. REFUND PROCESS

4.1 To initiate a refund request, please email support@rangolicinema.com with the following details:

  • Registered email address and mobile number
  • Transaction ID and payment proof
  • Brief description of the issue

4.2 Once your request is received, our support team will verify the claim.
4.3 Eligible refunds (if approved) will be processed within 7–10 working days from the date of approval.
4.4 Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during the transaction.


5. CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION BY RANGOLI CINEMA

5.1 We reserve the right to cancel or suspend any subscription if:

  • Fraudulent activity or misuse of the Platform is detected;
  • The user violates our Subscriber Agreement or Terms of Use;
  • A technical error results in incorrect pricing or unauthorized access;
  • The service or specific content is withdrawn or discontinued for any reason.

5.2 In such cases, Rangoli Cinema may, at its sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund depending on the situation.


6. THIRD-PARTY TRANSACTIONS

6.1 If your purchase was made via third-party platforms such as Google Play, Apple App Store, or payment wallets, refunds shall be processed in accordance with their respective refund policies.
6.2 Rangoli Cinema does not have control over third-party refund timelines or methods.


7. AUTO-RENEWAL AND BILLING CYCLES

7.1 By default, all paid subscriptions are set to auto-renew unless cancelled manually.
7.2 You are responsible for managing your subscription settings to prevent unwanted renewals.
7.3 Charges already deducted before cancellation are non-refundable.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes arising under or related to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal, India.


10. POLICY UPDATES

We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform with the revised “Effective Date.”
